Happy New Year, everyone!
So … any Reading Resolutions? Say, specific books you plan to read? A plan to read more ____? Anything at all?
Name me at least ONE thing you’re looking forward to reading this year!

Happy New Year to all my dear blogging friends and readers! I hope everyone had a great reading last in 2008! I did, but I am hoping to do better this year.

I suppose my reading resolutions is the same as in every year ~ to read as many books as I can, and to explore more new-to-me authors. I am also looking forward to all the reading challenges I have participated for this year, and hopefully be able to complete all of them since I did not complete a few of them last year. And of course, I think my biggest challenge is to read all the books in my TBR pile but I think this is very unlikely.

What about you?

    Well said! Happy New Year!

  2. I've never participated in a challenge before - I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up! I'm hoping to read some classic literature this year.

Not much in the way of resolutions for me either...I just hope 2009 is as good as 2008 was reading-wise. If it's not quite as good, I'll be happy too :P

Resolution is never written on stone. I don’t want resolution to fetter my reading spontaneity. The rough sketch is that I should read more nonfiction this year.

  13. LOL - TBR is a big one for me. :) I don't have any specific goals yet, but yours are great!

  14. Robin M Says:

Yep, getting through the TBR pile is a big one, plus reading a wider variety of books and new authors.
    Happy new year.

My TBR pile has almost 70 books I think. That is more than I read this year, much more. But yes, I would like to decrease it too.

  18. Darlene Says:

I love it! Now that is one resolution I could actually keep. lol.

    Happy New Year Melody!

I'm looking forward to the reading challenges too. I've controlled myself a bit and have stuck with shorter challenges for the most part so let's see if this helps with me completing more - haha...

Hope you have a great reading year ahead!
