I've read another of her books which was quite good but it was also more of a women's drama. Lots about the secrets everyone hides, etc. I can't remember the title of it right now but I think it was written with someone else too. Infidelity isn't my favorite premise, but if it wasn't even a thriller, I'm going to pass on this one.jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30771807.post-89197318703757646862018-09-05T08:34:20.890+08:002018-09-05T08:34:20.890+08:00Lark - I was disappointed that it wasn't writt...Lark - I was disappointed that it wasn't written as a thriller. I'd be curious what Josie would do after she's found out about her husband's infidelity. OK, so that's my thought based from a thrillers reader's perspective. ;) Melodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03967837585961009598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30771807.post-22911460454914627702018-09-05T03:58:11.681+08:002018-09-05T03:58:11.681+08:00I might have read it if it were a thriller; as it ...I might have read it if it were a thriller; as it is, I think I'll pass. :)Lark https://www.blogger.com/profile/13777891312147377769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30771807.post-7037222822074339802018-09-04T22:36:17.487+08:002018-09-04T22:36:17.487+08:00Kay - I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this book m...Kay - I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this book more than me, Kay. I'll definitely check out Sarah Pekkanen's backlist as I've heard some of her books are good, too. And I'll be sure to look out for her new release with Greer Hendricks as well. Honestly, I don't remember much about it, though I think I did like it a little better than you. I've also read this author's book with Greer Hendricks and am looking forward to their new one coming out in a few months. I've read other books by Sarah Pekkanen that I enjoyed more - The Perfect Neighbors (think that's the title) was one. You might try some of her backlist. And I'm not a big fan of reading about infidelity either. I suppose it reads more like reality (not that the thrillers don't, just that the focal point is different) and it just saddens me to read about spouses being unfaithful. Anyway, spoiler or not, I'm glad to note there's a happy ending in this book because it deserves a happy ending given the subject matter, isn't it? I haven't tried anything by this author before, and probably will skip this one by her if I am tempted to give her work a try.Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.com
