Melody

1. How many books would you say you read in an average month? Well, I'd say it's around 4 to five books.
2. In a year? Well, I don't keep track of the number of books I read, but if it is based on the figure from Q1, it'd be 60.
3. Over the last five years? I can't answer this as I don't keep track of the numbers over the years. However, I do try to read as fast as possible so that I will keep up with my TBR pile! LOL. And it's hard when there are so many new releases out every month.
4. The last 10? Ditto.

Hi Melody! You know, I think you should start putting record of all the books that you read. Keep them in your compute files or something. That what I do :)

    Happy Booking Through Thursday!
    Here is Mine!

Maybe that's a good idea, considering I've a short memory, hehe. Thanks, and Happy BTT!

  3. I think Julia's going to start a trend! It's hard to remember all those books.

I just estimated and then did a bit of math (*shudders*).

Have a great day! Mine's up, too.

Hi Melody. Isn't it the truth. The number of books is astronomical and I can never stay ahead of it! Have a wonderful rest of the week.

  5. Great answers, Melody, and mine are fairly similar. I've really picked up my reading in the last year or two and read a lot more than I used to.

Like Julia said, I also think you should start a listing of some kind. I keep one at my blog, but also a quick document on my local computer is easy to keep updated. It only takes a second when I finish a book to add to my list and count, and then at the end of the year, I have a total for the year. Which is always really cool to go back and look at!

Hope you have a wonderful day, and Happy Reading :)

Hi all, thanks for visiting! I'm so ashamed, it looks like I'm the only one who doesn't keep track of the numbers of books read, hehe. Guess I better do so now. ;P

  7. There's no shame in not keeping track, Melody. :-) The rest of us are just anal. LOL Seriously though, I find it fun to keep track and make lists, but I know not everyone does. If it's something you would enjoy doing, I say, give it a try. As soon as it feels like a chore or work, it's not worth it.

Thanks for visiting, literary feline! Perhaps it's just my excuse of being lazy, LOL!

I don't mind giving it a try though, since it helps to keep track of the numbers and titles I read throughout the years, and it'll be fun to look back when I'm getting old! *grins*

Hi Melody! Our answers are very similar, aren't they? My husband calls me the list-maker extraordinaire so maybe with a little more time and the incentive of having a blog...I will keep track!

Hi Amy, thanks for visiting! I agree that blogging do allow us of keeping track of books we read, along as other stuff as well! :) Hope you have a great weekend.
