Week of July 29: Harry Potter Mania

OK, so I've been hooked on Harry Potter books like so many others and this week's meme will be about 'The Boy Who Lived'.

So do tell, are you hooked on Harry Potter too? Do you prefer the books or the movies? Have you read all the books yet? Do you plan to?
Till next time...
Yes, I'm hooked to this series, however it is the movies first that got me started. I bought the whole series of the book when the last book was out and I'm currently reading Book 3: HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was fun reading it after having watching the movies, and well there are several scenes that you can't find in the movie version and that's why reading the book is essential, although I'd say I enjoyed watching the movies too.

I think it was the books that got me hooked first before the movies. But either way, I like it :)

I'll check out your meme in a moment. ;) Glad you like the new look; only the hubs told me he still prefer my previous one, haha.

I am definitely more the "book" type, although I love the movies, too. The books are just so... expressive... in the way that only books can be. Movies never get all the nuances, the details, the minute emotions... the hidden secrets that the books hold for us as we turn the pages and our own life bleeds into the book for a while. Ahhhh, the books...
