TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
- Grab your current read.
- Let the book fall open to a random page.
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
- Please avoid spoilers!
The house whirled around two or three times and rose slowly through the air. Dorothy felt as if she were going up in a balloon.
(Pg 13, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum)
Interesting story! I would recommend it!
How are you doing, Melody?
It's been busy, busy around our house getting ready for the wedding! The bridal shower went great, but I didn't have a moment to breathe, let alone take some pics. A friend of mine took the pics, and has promised me a cd of all the pics, but I haven't rec'd that yet. Will post some as soon as I get them!
How's your girls doing? Growing quickly, I'm sure!
My daughter-in-law started a blog, so I read hers when time allows. Here's the link, if you want to read:

Hope you're doing well! Too much rain in our area lately.....
love ya,
Kathy
What's not to love with the Wizard? My kids have the whole set. We need to work through them again!
I read Wizard of Oz just last year and then saw the movie. I think it's a true children's book which will teach them morals and all that stuff but adults like us can enjoy it too. Hope you are liking it Melody.
Of course, we can all visualize that great teaser. That movie gave me nightmares when I was young!
It's been so long since I read this! I should pick it up again sometime - especially because I'd love to see what my post-Wicked response to it would be. Looking forward to your review!
Kathy - Hello, Kathy! How're you? It's been a while since I've heard from you, but I totally understand how busy you are with work and everything! I hope you've the break you so well-deserved!
I'm fine, thanks for asking!
I can't wait to view the wedding pics! I always love viewing wedding photos!
Thanks for the link to your daughter-in-law's blog! I'll check it out soon! I shall catch up with you more via emails.
Take care!
{Hugs}
