  1. Scientist
  2. Broadcast Journalist
  3. Teacher
  4. Graphic Designer
  5. Chemist
  6. Pharmacist
  7. Cartoonist
  8. Librarian

Well, I can't think of any. And I regret to say my current job isn't even listed on it. Hmph! LOL. However, I would like to write full-time when I retire one day.

Hi Mel, I think we're twin sisters! I have almost the same list... Let's see what's matched:

Scientist... Teacher (ohhhh yes!)... chemist... librarian... pharmacist (I was thinking more of doctor though)...

    Cool list!! :D

  2. Hootin Anni Says:

Oh wow...your number 7 is quite interesting. I would think it so difficult for one to come up with something clever and witty each day!! [of course I'm thinking of comic strips]

    Great list. Mine's posted

  3. MommaBoo Says:

How come we all wanted to be scientists? Mixing funny chemicals, sounds like fun, even NOW!

    :D

    Thanks for sharing!

    Happy Tuesday!

  4. Debi Says:

Wow, what a cool and varied list!
I didn't even play today, because the only thing I remember really wanting to be was a SWAT cop. (And no, I didn't follow that dream through to fruition...lol.)

  5. Julia Says:

WOW didn't know you want to be cartoonist, that is interesting! When I was kids, I used to read whole bunches of cartoonist books. The Veronica and Betty was one of favorite......I should have put journalist on my lists, that was one of the dream of mine too :)

I notice alot of you put scientist on your lists, maybe I wasn't such an interesting kid after all LOL

Deb - I almost put cop on my lists too! I used to play cop and robber as kids *grin*..hence it might be the reason why I love reading romance suspense books *big grin*

Glad you decided to play, Melody! Thanks for comments my blog, happy Ten on Tuesday!

Cool list. It is all over the place. It ranges from the smart/geeky stuff to the fun/creative side. I guess we all had that combo going on as part of being a kid - you just wanted to experiment with everything. :)

  7. Frances D Says:

Funny this is the third list in a row that lists librarian.
I wanted to be a teacher/lecturer too. Still do actually.
Love the Book logo and saying on your site.
Wishing you many happy years of writing full time when retirement comes.
    Frances

  8. I had a hard time coming up with 10 as well. I finally had to reach way back and think of things that I might have had a passing fancy for.

I think all girls wanted to be teachers at some point, right?

  9. Patois42 Says:

Go scientist and its variations -- pharmacist and chemist! Great list. I love cartoonist, too, although I wouldn't have the creativity required!

  10. Melody Says:

Hi Alice, I can see a lot of people also listed scientists as one of our "dreams". Must be chemistry, hehe.

Hi Hootin'Anni, I don't think I can come up something clever & witty every day! Maybe more towards the mangas and cartoons movies. LOL!

Hi Jennie, yeah you got it right! Must be the chemistry. ;)

Hi Debi, I think yours is cool! I have never thought of that. Oh wow!! :D

Hi Julia, as usual thanks for stopping by and leaving comments on my blog! You're my regular reader, hehe. I didn't know you read comics too. ;)

Hi Falnangel, you said it! We just want to try out everything!!! LOL.

Hi Frances, thanks! I love reading since I was young, so to think of being a librarian comes naturally. ;)

Hi Jennifer, I agree that teachers is also another popular list. But I don't think I can make a good teacher today, because most of the kids are too intelligent and rebellious nowadays. LOL.

Hi Patois, being a cartoonist used to be one of my dreams. But as you said, it involves lots of creativity and I'm afraid I'll lose my ideas through the years! But it won't hurt to dream eh? LOL.

Thanks all for stopping by! Happy Ten on Tuesday and have a great day. :D

  11. Alice Says:

Hi Mel, I forgot to mention I wanted to be a POLICE, carrying guns, and running around chasing baddies. LOL. But now, I changed my mind. Heheeee...

  12. Melody Says:

    A police! Oh wow! LOL.

I have great respect to the police force (as well as the military) because they risk their life to protect our nations. A great salute to them!

  13. It's wonderful where a child's dream can take them. :-) You definitely were all over the spectrum. :-) Great list.
