I have nothing much to blog today; however I would like to share some of the books I bought during lunchtime earlier, hehe.

I bought the first two books because recently I have read great reviews about them (I couldn't believe I gave them a miss when they were first released! But come to think of it, I wasn't really a great fan of literary fiction books then, but now I am. :D) I have also decided to read Astrid and Veronika after finishing Twilight and In Your Eyes.

I have Kite Runner in my TBR too. :) Nice to see you bought so many books, Mel. I gave up listing mine because (shame on me!) I've been book-shopping almost daily. SIGH...
Oh, I forgot to mention. I've just bought 3 of Anne Stuart's book from the Ice Series. Found them quite cheap for USD19.50 at www.BetterWorld.com -- I hope the package will arrive within 2 to 3 weeks' time... :D

I've been making that shift lately as well. And I definitely want to get The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns read one of these days, too. Seems as if blogging has really opened my eyes and expanding my horizons when it comes to reading. And that's a good thing!
If I would have known that you wanted to read the Kite Runner . . . . I would have sent it to you . . . . . Hubs read it and doesn't want to keep it (like most of his books). I will have to go thru them and send you a list, we are getting ready to take a stack to donate . . . . if there are any you want I will just send them over the big pond, lol!!
