Recently our company did some renovation works to expand the office space. They have all the measurements and plans well prepared before the work begins, but after the renovation was completed, someone then pointed out that the new office door is facing directly towards the restroom door, which is a big no-no under the rules of Fengshui. While the person-in-charge scrambles for solutions, the management finally came up with two plans:
(1) to build a screen in front of the restroom door; or
(2) re-do everything.
Well, I can't imagine if they decide to take Plan 2, because if they do, can you imagine the time and efforts (not to mention money) have all been wasted? Gosh!
But I understand there are some people who will seek a Fengshui expert before buying a house. I have also came across some rules such as: one shouldn't place his/her bed facing towards the restroom door, and/or one should always keep his/her restroom door closed etc etc.
(What is FengShui? Click here to read more.)
Well, we didn't engage any master for advice when we first bought our house (anyway the consultation fees isn't cheap!), but we do leave our master bedroom's restroom's door closed at all times. The reason is - it isn't pleasing to the eyes to leave it open anyway. LOL.
So, I'm very curious to know everyone's opinion. Do you believe in it? And how far would you go if you do?
POV
I am wondering which POV do you prefer to read in books? Do you prefer to read them as in first person, or third person? Will you turn down a book just because it is written in the first person POV? Why?
As for me, I am comfortable with either one. A great book
means a great book, no matter which POV is written. :)
I hope you are not eating while reading this... ;P (Surely I don't want to be held responsible for spoiling your appetite! Hehe.) Anyway, back to the topic... How do you feel whenever you are using the public restrooms? Have you ever encountered something strange, something unexplainable in there, or have you had any weird dreams about them?
I asked because I have an eerie experience to share. I was in High School then (don't ask me where), and I recall it was a cloudy day that day. At that time the restrooms were not equipped with automatic flushing system. So whenever one has finished his business, he has to flush it manually.
I got out from a cubicle and was washing my hands when I heard a flushing sound coming from the last cubicle. I looked up and noticed the door was opened. Apparently no one was inside, but then who flushed the toilet? And who would stay in the cubicle after that?! (I was very sure no one played a prank on me because no one left the classroom when I came out. Moreover who would want to stay and wait in a restroom just to scare people off?) Without waiting any longer, I left the restroom immediately. Till now, I get goosebumps whenever I thought about that incident.

Well, I am curious to find out if anyone is addicting to any drinks. Do you have a favourite drink? And what do you drink every day?

I love teas. I have several types of teas in my kitchen (e.g. green tea, oolong tea, white tea and black tea etc). For anyone who knows me well, I am a
BIG green tea drinker. I drink it every morning, way before I start my breakfast. (For your info, I have my breakfast in the office. I will come in the office before the official hours and check my emails, read blogs while munching on bread and sipping my cup of
green tea.) In the afternoon, I will have jasmine
green tea (green tea with jasmine aroma which is equally good to the tastebuds in my opinion), right after my lunch. It has becomes a habit to me, and now I am thinking if consuming too much
green tea is bad for health. I have read lots of articles that said drinking
green tea is beneficial to one's health, but is drinking too much harmful? I don't know... Or how does too much caffeine do to our health? I need to do a google on this.
