I am wondering which POV do you prefer to read in books? Do you prefer to read them as in first person, or third person? Will you turn down a book just because it is written in the first person POV? Why?

As for me, I am comfortable with either one. A great book means a great book, no matter which POV is written. :)

I'm with you Mel. A great book is a great book, whichever POV it is.

It'd be interesting to hear views from others. :-)

No, it doens't really matter although I find first person the usually the most interesting.

Chris, I too agree that the first person POV is the most interesting...because you're really 'into' the character's mind, although most people said they'd prefer to read from a third person POV. Thanks for sharing! :)

Gee, that's like asking me whether I prefer popcorn or chocolate. LOL I can't answer that. Either one can be wonderful or horrible, depending on the book.
