I bought these books at one go yesterday! Phew!! I can't help it though. I was hooked after reading
Santa, Baby, so I was excited when I found several backlist from Jennifer Crusie (and some of them can be so hard to find).
Most of the times (and unintentionally), I picked up the second or third book of a series; and this time it is Kinley MacGregor's
Knight of Darkness, the second book to her Lord of Avalon series which am currently reading. Thus my eyes lit up when I found the first book
Sword of Darkness on the shelf, and it was the last copy so of course I have to grab it. Hehe.
Have not tried reading Jeanie London yet, but the cover attracts me (not to mention strong heroines fascinate me). There were a few occasions that I enjoyed reading the books judged by the covers, and hopefully this will be one of them.

Gosh, I am really way, way behind with the reviews, and I am terribly sorry about it!
I have been working hard with my Nanowrimo assignment, and todate I have about 30k words there! Every word counts is so precious to me; it sure isn't easy to write a novel. Phew! Thus, my salute to all the novelists out there, you guys rock! LOL.
Ah, I found some books during the weekends and am delighted to share them with you.
Passionate Thirst by Cameron Dean - I have never heard of her name before; and this is the first book of a vampire series, and I can't wait to read it.
The Habor by Carla Neggers - I have not read her book yet, but the blurb interests me. I hope I will be reading more of her books next time...
Knight of Darkness by Kinley MacGregor - aka Sherrilyn Kenyon. She is one heck of a talented author. She writes historical romance and paranormal romance suspense. Well known for her Dark Hunter series. This is the second book of her Lords of Avalon series.
Midnight Rainbow by Linda Howard - This is one of another hard-to-find books by LH. I simply love her books. She is one of my favorite authors!
Well, that's all for now. Sorry about the covers formatting, I am in a rush when doing this. Now back to my writing, again...

I was stopping by the bookstore during lunchtime earlier when I found these books on the shelves! I was soooo excited! Of course I have to grab them fast. :-P
Matthew Reilly's
Seven Ancient Wonders was actually published in 2005, but it was in hardcover, thus I didn't buy it. It is way too expensive in my opinion; with the same amount I can buy 2 books at that price! Anyway, I am so glad to see it's released in paperbacks now.
As for Nicci French's
Catch Me When I Fall, I did mention in my previous blog that I will get her other books, but this is only what I could find in the bookstore. I will continue to check for their other books...{keeping fingers crossed}
That's all for now! ;-)

OMG, Secret Smile is great! (I have reached to the part whereby the heroine, Miranda began to ask herself if she was going insane or even obsessed with Brendan!!!) I haven't finished reading this book yet, still I can't stop myself from raving it to Julia and hubby. Julia seems interested though a little skeptical (LOL!), while hubby's reaction was like, "What's the big deal about the storyline?!" He didn't know how much he had missed; anyway he isn't a booklover like me, so I gather it's useless to discuss any books with him unless they are books on photography or IT stuff. Oh well...
Anyway, here is a list of books which I'm going to buy next (sequence not in order):
1) Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts (1st book of the trilogy)
2) Murphy's Law by Lori Foster
3) Drop Dead Gorgeous by Linda Howard
4) Every Breath You Take by Judith McNaught
5) Breaking Point by Suzanne Brockmann
6) The Smoke Thief by Shana Abe
That's all for now. :-P

All right, I have bought more books during the weekend, so shoot me! LOL. Here are my list:
1) Angel with Attitude by Michelle Rowen
2) Hunting the Hunter by Shiloh Walker
3) Surf's Up by Nina Bangs, MaryJanice Davidson and Janelle Denison
4) Scent of Roses by Kat Martin
5) In the Dark by Marliss Melton
Currently I'm reading Angel with Attitude and all I can say is, this book is a fun read. Former angel, Valerie Grace was kicked out of Heaven and fell into the killer whale tank at MarineLand. She still couldn't understand what she had done to deserve this, but she was going to find the stolen key to Heaven by all means. Then came Nathaniel, a sexy Tempter Demon who intend to lure her to Hell but soon he began to show signs of loyalty and love. Valerie began to wonder if it is a bad thing to have the hots for a demon.
This book was actually recommended to me by the bookstore assistant. I was brownsing and searching for some good books when she dumped the above books (Item no. 1 - 3) into my hands and said, "These're some of the new releases. See if you're interested..." Then she wandered off and busied with her work. Bad Attitude, you would say, but because I'm one of their regular customers (since when, I can't remember!) so naturally we are more like friends than anything else.

All right, I have something to confess! I have about 50 books
unread in my bookshelf and yet I can't stop myself from buying more books!!! Here are some of the latest books I bought which are added to the pile. :-D
As you can see, Kim Harrison's books are top on the list. Those are actually her Rachel Morgan series and I can't wait to indulge into them. Rachel is a sexy witch and bounty hunter, which reminds me a little of Anita Blake, the heroine in Laurell K Hamilton's series. I haven't read any of Harrison's books yet, but she will be the next on my reading list.
Sherrilyn Kenyon's
Bad Attitude, well...what can I say? She rocks! LOL.
As for Cherry Adair, I picked up
Edge of Danger because of the paranormal romance suspense genre. Previously, she wrote romance suspense so I'm going to give this book a try.
Bad Boys of Summer...{sigh}, I love reading a bad boy story, and needless to say, Lori Foster is another reason for me to pick up this book!
Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. {panting} :-P
