1. Holidays in the summer are fun if only the weather isn't too hot.

2. Hotdogs and corn on the cob are my favorite things to grill.

3. My thoughts are straying towards vacations because it seems like most of my friends or colleagues are taking their break.

4. Rearranging my book piles is what I'm most looking forward to this weekend!

5. My favorite book so far this summer is No Time for Goodbye by Linwood Barclay. It is an exciting thriller with a twist at the end.

6. The sweet smell of bakery and a cup of hot tea is the best way to begin a day.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to reading my book and RT Book Reviews magazine, tomorrow my plans include laundry, cooking and spending time with my family and Sunday, I want to sort out and organize my books so as to make some rooms for the newer books!

    happy Friday!

Hi, Melody!!! Happy Friday to you!
Hope it doesn't rain too much this weekend in your hometown -- maybe you'll get a chance to grill those hot dogs & corn!! Eat some for me!

Re: that church photo -- we observe daylight savings time here so we think the sun sets around 9 O'clock in the evening! The extra daylight is nice! Sometimes I don't get home from work until seven o'clock at night, and the extra couple of hours of sunlight is nice to enjoy while sippig a glass of lemonade!

    Have a great weekend!
    :o))))))

Sunshine - I really enjoyed reading that book! I hope you'll read it soon. :)

Kathy - Hello!! How're things with you over there? Enjoyed viewing your pics! :) It's been sunny over here, hopefully it won't get too hot! The sun usually sets before 7pm over here... did I mention that I love to live in a country where there's four seasons?!! Now you know why!

    Well, I hope you and everyone at home have a great weekend!!! {Hugs}

Annie - Indeed they are. :) Thanks for visiting.

  5. Maisie Says:

Ah yes. Going on vacation would be great, but I have no plans for that this summer. I hope that your book organizing goes well this weekend. I should clean and organize, but I probably won't.

    God bless!

  7. Melody Says:

Maisie - Thanks. I hope you've a great weekend too.

Mhay - I'm hoping I'll be able to have those books sorted out. ;)

Oh yes, number 6 I agree with entirely. Can't think of a better way to start the day than baked goods and hot tea. Have not tried grilling corn on the cob - sounds good.

    Have a good weekend. :)

Let's arrange our book piles together. I'm looking forward to my books migration (part 2). LOL.

    Have a good weekend!

P/S: I was so looking forward to seeing your answerst to the office meme (8 random items) but then you're not playing... If you do change your mind, I'll pop by instantly. :D

  10. Melody Says:

    Clarence - I hope you've a great weekend too. :)

Alice - I've wanted to clear those book piles for ages! Just couldn't find the chance yet... and with my little girl messing around, it isn't fun, LOL. I'm looking forward to reading your books migration (Pt 2) though. ;)

As for the office meme, I'm really sorry that I can't play this time around because I don't have anything interesting to share. I don't bring personal stuff to the office...does that sound weird to you? Haha. Well, I hope you've a great weekend too!

    Nymeth - I too hope you've a lovely weekend. :)

Wendy - I agree! Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to clear those book piles as some other things had cropped up. I hope you've a great weekend too! :)

Serena - Grilled corns always make my mouth water. ;)

Jaimie - Glad to hear you're rearranging your books! Looks like I've to do this some other time! The weather is hot over here too! I hope you've a great weekend. :)

Hey Melody - I love corn on the cob, one of my favorite foods hehe. And it true, it always nice to wake up to the sweet smell of bakery :) I hope that the weather is nice over there, to give you the chance for vacation times. And I hope you managed to get your books clear and in order soon :)

    Have a good day!

  18. Melody Says:

I love, love, love bakery! :D
The weather's been sunny for the past few days, but yesterday it rained and it looks like the sky is cloudy today. Not sure if it'd rain later.

As for clearing those books, I haven't had the chance to do them yet! Some other thing had cropped up over the weekend...oh well, there's always another time. ;P
