I have tried every ways of blocking them; I called up our IT Support staff to report the spams, and in my own Yahoo email I will click on 'Spam' whenever I see one and the system will automatically file it under Bulk so I don't even bother to check any mails which are listed under this folder. But still, I receive spams every now and then. It is like a vicious cycle, and I am beginning to get tired of all this stuff. So, I am wondering if you have the same problem like this. Usually how many do you receive a day? Does it bother you? And what will you do about it? I would love to hear from you.
My spam count seems to be going up in recent weeks, including at work where the filter is so strict that my husband's e-mails never get through. A lot of it goes straight into my spam folder and so it's easy to hit the delete key without having to bother with any of it. I just have to make sure no "good" mail gets thrown in there my mistake. Spam is a big headache.
They are such a nuisance, aren't they?! Wow, your filters sound terrific, but I wouldn't want my "good" mails to end up in the garbage bin either. Hopefully they can be solved!!!
I recently got so frustrated with my home e-mail I got a gmail account. So far I have very little spam.
I have heard some good stuff about getting gmail too, maybe I will have to think about it! Thanks for stopping by, Sarala. :)
Melody - I use Yahoo too and get spams all the time. Most spam get sent to junk mail when yahoo reconized it. But sometime even important e-mails get sent to junk mail and I had to sent it back to my inbox....
I do have Gmail and you don't get lot of spam at all! At one time I only see 1 or 2 spams and that it. And it was only happen once. The Gmail really work well and keep out the spams from coming in your inbox.
Believe it or not, I think google and Gmail work together. You're using the google account to sign in your blog. If you have google then you can get Gmail but I think to get one, you have to sign up from your cell phone. OR your friend can invite you to get Gmail.
Hey Julia, yes I do encounter some emails going to the junk mailbox, but it is rare.
Seriously I haven't think of signing up gmail and I have to reconsider it since a few of you said some good things about it. :)
Good, think about the gmail and let me know. I think I can invited you then :)
