(This is a scheduled post. I am taking a day off today as it is a public holiday.)

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia from The Printed Page.

I received the following books last week:

1) Alex & Me: How a Scientist and a Parrot Discovered a Hidden World of Animal Intelligence--and Formed a Deep Bond in the Process by Irene M. Pepperberg (a giveaway win from Jennifer)

2) The Promised World by Lisa Tucker (Thanks to Wendy!)

3) Waiting for You by Susane Colasanti (bought from The Book Depository)

4) Dreaming Anastasia by Joy Preble (bought from The Book Depository)

So what books came into your house last week?

I think the book blogging community is suffering from a collective hangover. I just got back from vacation, so I feel I need to do some catch up. I had some library books waiting for me when I got home, but other than that, it has been quiet!

I really want to read Dreaming Anastasia and Alex & Me (my mom had an African Grey for years, he wasn't the nicest bird always but he was plenty entertaining!)

The only book that came into my house this week was My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent. So excited about reading that, and the author even autographed it for me!

  18. Melody Says:

    Jen - I love autographed books!! :D
