(I took this picture while lying on the floor. There are actually four stacks here; 2 being hidden behind from these stacks. Only 3 books were read from these piles - The Goose Girl, Enna Burning by Shannon Hale and The Mango Season by Amulya Malladi. Click onto the image for a larger view.)

I think your TBR stacks easily rival mine (last photographed with a cat on top)Lots of great books there! Most of them I haven't read (of what titles I can read). I did really enjoy the Time Traveler's Wife.
Love the photo of Bonn, Germany!
Are you saying these TBR books are on the floor? You should see what my TBR pile look like, it scary!
Wow, great pictures, both of them:) Happy reading!
lol! A book lover's home :D
PS: I spot Patrick Ness! Read him! You know you want to :P
Holy wow! They look like they could fall on you from that angle. That's a lot of TBR, Mel!
I love those stacks!!
As much as I adore Germany, I prefer the photos of the books. :)
Mine is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/09/mornings-wordful-wordless-wednesday.html
Weren't you afraid you were going to crushed to death if those piles fell while lying down below to capture that photo?!! ;)
I have a pic that's also like yours of a church.. i will search and post it! love it!
and stack... that's frightening my dear :D
I love both of these. THe colors of the first and the absurdity of the last. And having seen my tbr pile you know I say that with love :) It looks like you should have been wearing armor to take that shot!
The Mango Season is on my list but I'm sure it will advance to the TBR pile! Your picture reminds me of the public library annual book sale this weekend. Miles and miles of books for under $5. :)
Wow, that TBR stack is pretty daunting! I'm surprised it doesn't tumble over. :)
I am feeling so much better about my TBR pile right now!
Jeane - I can't wait to read The Time Traveller's Wife. Did you watch the movie?
Julia - Nope, these books are stacked on top of one another, LOL.
Andreea - Thanks, Andreea! :)
Nymeth - OK, I will definitely move Patrick Ness' books on top of those pile, LOL.
Ceri - I couldn't resist buying books!! :D
Beth - I love my TBR piles, LOL. And I love viewing other readers' piles too! :)
Jennifer - I'd choose a pic of books over other pics any time, LOL.
Debi - I did think of that, LOL! In fact, my 5-yr-old daughter was standing beside me when I captured this shot and I was so scared that she might accidentally make them fall!!
Veens - I look forward to your pic of the church. TBR piles are always frightening IMO, haha.
Stacy - I can't add any more books to these piles anymore. :P
Matt - I'm glad my pic reminds you of the library sale! I hope you'll get more books after seeing this, LOL.
Memory - To tell you honestly, they did tumble over a few times, but I stack them up again, hehe.
Lisa - I'm sure all of us booklovers have this TBR pile problem. :P
Great pics!
My whole two bookshelves are all TBRs so I'm not going to try taking a pic of that...
I love the perspective of your tbr pile. It looks threatening!! ;)
Alice - Thanks, Alice! :)
My bookshelves are fully filled with my other TBR piles too. ;)
Lenore - LOL. If only I could make a dent out of those! ;P
What a grand building! And look at all those books! You'd better start reading, Melody! You have enough books to last you awhile. :-)
wow, thats one heck of a TBR pile!!
and the building is beautiful.

I finally had to get shelves for my TBR stacks :)
Love the pics, Melody!
Wendy, Naida - I need to read fast but it's hard when you keep on adding books to them, LOL.
Iliana - I want more bookshelves but first I need some more for those as well! :P
LOL! So if you took that picture while lying down does that mean those stacks are towering to the ceiling? That's a mighty big TBR!
