Melody
I put up our mini Christmas tree on Monday. I know, I know, it is nothing fancy but I thought it still adds some Christmasy feeling to the house. (I think we bought the fake tree at a mall four years ago. Looking back, I wish we had bought a bigger one!) And I just love the snowman Jennifer T. (my best friend/'sister') bought for my elder daughter some time ago. Don't you think the snowman looks happy sitting beside the tree?

Have you put up your Christmas tree?

Awwww what a cute Frosty the Snowman! I think he very comfortable sitting next to the cute little tree! :) Love your tree!

Yes I have put my tree up. I had it up the first week of December, I think on December 5th. It the same old fake tree we brought three years ago. I post it at my blog last year, remember? *grin*.

The snowman is soooo cute and cheery! I haven't put up a tree since I 've had my labrador. Cleanup can be a problem with all the needles on the carpet after a month. Ha!

I was in Malaysia and Singapore around this time last year, then Hong Kong to spend Christmas with my family. This year I'm here working and am in between jobs. :) I miss a tropical Christmas.

I like how the snowman just cheers up the whole place. He's very cute too!

Are those books next to the tree? Nice... *GRIN*

  5. A tree makes such a big difference, huh! I opted out of most of our decorations this year because time got away from me, but I had to put the tree up. We both have mostly red ornaments!!

  6. Ruth King Says:

That's so pretty! I love the snowman!

We really need to get our tree up...

  7. Shana Says:

Great photo, Melody! It's very festive and yes, the snowman looks happy!

We put our tree up the week before Thanksgiving. That's early for us, but we were heading out of town and decided to get it done before we left.

Softdrink - Indeed he is! He's craving for more company though, hehe.

Julia - Yep, I do remember your posting of the Christmas tree, but I need to check the pic on your blog again. ;)

Matt - I can understand the pain of cleaning up after taking the tree down!

*sigh* I wish we can swap places, because I'd love to have a white Christmas! ;)

Alice - Those are our CD collections. :D I'm sorry that the pic is badly taken...but those CDs do look like books, eh?

Trish - Christmas tree lights up everything! Without these trees I won't be able to experience the festive mood! I chose the red ornaments because they're so bright and cheerful!

Ruth - I can't wait to see your Christmas tree! :)

Shana - Thanks! :) I hope you'll be taking a pic of it because I'd love to see it.

  9. Julia Says:

LOL Melody, good luck in finding the post of my last year Christmas tree *grin*. My tree right now, is the same as last year :) Shall I take picture of it again, for you LOL

  10. Melody Says:

Julia - It definitely helps if you post the pic of your Christmas tree again! LOL.

  11. Alice Says:

No no, Melody... the photo is fine. I think it's optical illusion that those CDs look like books. hehee.... my head's always filled with books only. My bad! :p

  12. Debi Says:

Oh Melody, that little tree is perfect! It looks absolutely lovely! And Frosty there makes a happy corner even happier!

I hope you and your family are enjoying the Christmas season!

We don't have one yet. We're going to be away the week of Christmas with family, so we're going to get a small one. I had a dream that we went to a tree lot and I picked out the only perfectly-shaped tree I could find, and it was ten inches high. My husband was so mad.

  14. Iliana Says:

So cute! I love the snowman. Now all you need is bunches of presents :)

Unfortunately I don't think we'll put up a Christmas tree this year just because there is no space for it! Hmm, I need to do something though because the "christmas" feel is seriously lacking around here.

  15. Ana S. Says:

Both the tree and frosty look lovely! I don't have my tree up yet, can you believe it? I need to find the time to do it soon. It just doesn't feel like Christmas without one.

It all looks so pretty. Well my tree is up but nothing is on it yet. I'm really bad this year and yet I had such good intentions.

  18. Melody Says:

Alice - I know what you mean. Those CDs do look like books, don't they? ;P

Debi - I too hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season!

Jeane - LOL! I'd love to get a real tree! But I don't think we could have one since we don't have a yard.

Iliana - I understand that putting up a Christmas tree occupies space, perhaps that's why I bought a smaller tree, hehe.

Nymeth - Yes! I think it's essential to get a Christmas tree for Christmas! :)

Naida - That's great! I'm hoping you'll share a pic with us on your tree. ;)

Dar - Mine is all ornaments! I'd love to put some other little things on it (maybe Christmas cards or something).

  19. Kim L Says:

What a cute tree! We just bought one last weekend and put it up. It is a fake, but I thought it looked very nice. Now I feel all Christmasy :-)

  20. Ladytink_534 Says:

Frosty! I LOVE Frosty! How cute!

Hubby and I put our tree up a few days after Thanksgiving. He grumbled the entire time since we won't be here on Christmas lol.

  21. Melody Says:

Kim - A fake tree is nice, but a real one would be better! :D

Jen - Frosty is so cute, isn't he? :) I hope you and your husband have a wonderful Christmas holiday!
