TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
- Grab your current read.
- Let the book fall open to a random page.
- Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
- You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
- Please avoid spoilers!
My teaser sentences for today [The Gathering by Anne Enright (Pg 13)]:
The seeds of my brother's death were sown many years ago. The person who planted them is long dead - at least that's what I think.

It's an intriguing literary book, Naida!
This is a good teaser, Melody! I have this book sitting in my TBR collection somewhere. I look forward to reading your thoughts on it!
Interesting teaser!
Wendy - This book has been sitting in my TBR pile too! I can't wait to read the rest of this book soon.
Jen - Thanks! :)
Great teaser. I can't wait to see what you think of this book.
I almost bought The Tales of Beedle The Bard, but decided to wait and reward myself when I finish the Harry Potter series. I'm glad you liked it.
I can't wait to see what you think of The Gathering. I started it, but put it aside for something else.
Great teaser, Melody! I like the sound of this one.
Dar - The premise is really intriguing; and the author's writing style is unique.
Kristy - I figure I couldn't wait to read The Beedle book...I just couldn't resist it, LOL.
I suppose we've to have the right mood to read The Gathering because that's what I did earlier, hehe.
Alice - I've to read this book in between with the other. There are times that I find it difficult to get into the story.
I remember when I first heard about this book I really wanted to read it but then the reviews were coming back pretty mixed. I'll probably give it a chance one of these days though. I'm still intrigued :)
Iliana, I've read about mixed reviews too... I've read almost half of the book and I feel like giving up now. The writing is good, but there're some dull moments and plus I couldn't really get into the story.
