The reverse of last week’s question:

Imagine that everything is going just swimmingly. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and all’s right with the world. You’re practically bouncing from health and have money in your pocket. The kids are playing and laughing, the puppy is chewing in the cutest possible manner on an officially-sanctioned chew toy, and in between moments of laughter for pure joy, you pick up a book to read . . .

Well, if I'm in a happy mood, I can absolutely read anything. I don't care if the story has a happy ending or a sad ending, but then again if has to depend a lot on my reading mood. But the variety of books to read is definitely much wider as compared to my down moments as I won't want to read a book with a sad ending.

    I can certainly agree here! Although if I were THAT happy, I think my first instinct would be to grab a beloved cookbook and get to work! :D

    I think it's interesting how our bad or sad moods affect our reading habits more than our happy moods.

    I completely agree with you Melody, when I'm in a happy mood any book will do! Judy Thomas made an interesting point, it is fascinating how our bad moods affect what books we choose to read more than our happy moods!
