Week of February 24: Bookworms
If you're like me, your a bookworm.
I love to read. Whether it be a book, magazine, back of the cereal box...anything.
However I do prefer a good long novel.
So for this week, let's talk about our fav books.
1. Do you like to read? What is your fav book? author? Of course I do, as you can tell from my blog. :P Well, I can't specify any book or author because I have too many to list.
2. Do you hate it when they turn a book into a film? Generally I don't, because this shows how popular or how good the book is. However, I do hate it if tells in another different story. Anyway, the movie can not compare with the book in my opinion.
3. Has a book ever changed your life? How? I can't say that a book has changed my life, but certain books are thought-provoking that they have made me look at things in a different way.
4. Do you tend to borrow books from the library or do you prefer to buy them? I used to patronize the library until a few years after I started working. Nowadays I buy them from bookstores/used bookstores and occasionally online if they have a booksale.
5. Which book are you planning on reading next? I have no idea, and I find it pointless to decide on a book now because my reading mood changes.
'Never judge a book by its movie.' J. W. Eagan
I tend to both borrow books from library and buy books. So it goes both way :)
Great Randomness meme, and I hope you find a good book to read next :)
Julia, I miss going to the library, but then I know I might not be able to return books on time, hehe... and I hate to rush my reading.
It's impossible to choose just one favorite, isn't it? I never can! LOL
I love seeing books I've read being turned into movies. It's fun to see how someone else interprets a book I've read.
Have a great week, Melody! (I almost wrote "Have a great book!" Haha)
Wendy, I agree it's good to see the books we read made it to the big screen, and it isn't an easy task. Still, I'd choose books over movies anytime, hehe...
I hope you too have a great week! It's beginning of a new week here... Happy working! ;P
Hi Melody! I can never list down my favourite authors or books. Like you said, there are just too many! :D
Don't you just love that magical moment when you've finished up a book and realize you get to pick what to read next? Of course, sometimes it's sort of painful because there's so many books to choose from...but still.
That's right, Alice! :D
Debi, indeed I love that moment and it's always a pleasure for me to go through the pile and decide what to read next although I've a hard time choosing just one. ;)
hi melody, have a great weekend :)
