Here are some of the books I bought recently.
- Before I Wake by Robert J. Wiersema (I'm not familiar with this author, but I am intrigued with the blurb)
- Predatory Game by Christine Feehan (This is #6 of the Ghostwalkers series)
- Falling by Christopher Pike (I'm a great fan of Christopher Pike since I was a teenager. He writes great YA thrillers/fantasy, but I understand he is also writing novels for adults nowadays)
- Broken Angels by Richard Montanari (I have not read his books yet, although I have read a few good reviews about them from fellow booklovers)
- Taking Pictures by Anne Enright (She's the author who wrote The Gathering, so I'm interested to read this as well. By the way, this book is a collection of several short stories and is listed as the Winner of the Man Booker Prize 2007 . This copy is a UK edition)
- Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult (I like her books; this is her latest release)
I have Predatory Game in my TBR pile, so I have not read it yet. But I love Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series very much!
Have fun with your reading!
Ooh new books! I haven't read any of these but there are some that sound good to me. Enjoy them.
I haven't read any of them...in fact, I've never read any of those authors! Aren't I pathetic?!! But oh what a nice looking pile of books you got there, Melody! There is much that's more fun, is there?
I haven't read any of those, no. Actually, the only author I've heard of is Jodi Picoult :o But yay for getting new books! Happy reading :)
How fun! I can't wait to read your reviews!
You bought new books! Why am I not surprised... Haha. :D
Happy reading!
Julia - Yep, I knew you love this series very much! I can't wait to hear what you think after you've read it.
Iliana - New books always makes me happy... No, correction - All books makes me happy, hehe... ;)
Debi - No, that's not pathetic at all! It's just that each reader has his/her familiar or favourite authors, not to mention different reading preferences. And plus, it's always fun to explore new books, and going to bookstores of course! ;P
Nymeth - Jodi Picoult is a talented author. Most of her books are always so thought-provoking.
Jaimie - I'm not sure when I'll read them, but you know I'll share my thoughts with you ladies. :)
Alice - It's good to 'see' you! I hope everything is well with you. BTW, how's your studies? ;)
Hi hi Melody! So far so good, my studies. Thanks! I've just submitted the final project for my team as the team leader, and now waiting to sit for exam in a week's time. :D
I hope you're having a great weekend!
All the best for the exams, Alice! Hope you've a great weekend too! :)
