A BIG Thank You to Keri from Books with Swords for passing on the Kreativ Award to me. The rules are that I must list seven favorite things and nominate seven bloggers for the award.

Here goes:

1. Books (of course!)
2. A necklace/bracelet my best friend gave me
3. Chocolates
4. Fruits
5. Tulips
6. Bookmarks
7. Hard Rock T-shirts (I'm collecting them!)

Finally, I would like to pass this award on to some of the book blogs I have discovered recently: Bermudaonion's Weblog, Giving...Reading - A Chance and Half Deserted Streets.

An easy one for me, this. To most, 'yes'.

    Books I Like

  2. BooksPlease Says:

    Impossible for me to choose!

  3. God! mostly my answers are BOTH :) just like yours :)

THANK you for the award! I will be writing a post on that !

  4. Julia Says:

I mostly answered mine with "both". Because honestly I like both *grin*...But I can see why you prefer stand-alones books *grin* :)

Happy BTTs! Have a good Thursday

  5. Susan Whelan Says:

I'm impressed with your self-control in keeping your answers short.

This has been a great challenge for getting to know other book bloggers better. Happy BTT!

  6. Dot Says:

Melody you are far more disciplined than me, I couldn't decide between a lot of them! My answers are quite similar though! Happy BTT!

  7. Anonymous Says:

Well done for just picking one answer. I rambled a bit and mostly said both or it depends...!

  8. Anonymous Says:

You choose one for fun? It would have been torture for me to choose just one :)

congrats on the award, love the 7 things.

  9. I would have a hard time choosing just one answer as well! Some I do know for sure--definitely owned and definitely paperback. Congrats on the award--tuplips are such a beautiful flower.

  10. Beth F Says:

    Congrats on your award!!!

  11. Lauren Says:

Yay yay yay! Thank you! And congrats on YOUR award :)

I agree with pretty much all of your survey answers, by the way :)

  12. Sandy Nawrot Says:

Congrats on the award, and thanks for sharing a little more about yourself with us! This is a nice BTT.

  13. Anonymous Says:

Congratulations on your award! It was difficult for me to choose. Happy BTT!

  14. CeeCee Says:

I needed the quick answers today. Low om coffee. Happy BTT!

  15. Amy Says:

I agree, some were very tough to pick!

  16. Vasilly Says:

I choose almost the same answers as you! I am not into stream-of-consciousness. It's nice for the great language sometimes, but I need a plot.

  17. Susan Says:

The name of my blog is "Well-Mannered Frivolity" - can you guess what my answer to number 1 was? It was hard to choose between some of the answers this week though...

  18. Anonymous Says:

This one is not as easy as it seems. I find it difficult to capture my reading behavior in multiple choices!

I prefer a plot-driven novel that slowly unfolds in fruity and lush prose, with multiple layers and allusion that indulge my mind long after I turn the last page like the lingering aftertaste of a good glass of wine.

  19. Ana S. Says:

I'd have to say both to some of those...no way I can pick!

Also, congrats on your award, Mel :D

  20. Melody Says:

Hello, everyone! Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them all. Please accept my apologies for replying this one to all.

This week's meme is fun; I think it's a challenge answering some of the questions considering they are simple questions. :P

  21. Keri Says:

You're very welcome, Melody! Aside from your book reviews, I look forward to Wordless Wednesday each week. :)

  22. Anonymous Says:

Except for autobiographies, I would have said exactly the same thing...even on the ones where you wanted to answer both!

  23. Alice Says:

    I answered them at Julia's blog. :D

  24. Melody Says:

Keri - Thank you again! :)

Jill - Glad we share the same thoughts!

Alice - I read your answers, Alice. :) It sure is hard to choose only one, isn't it? :P

  25. Debi Says:

I don't think I could have stood up to challenge of answering all of those like you did, Melody. Some I just don't think I could ever choose.

  26. Iliana Says:

    Congrats on the award, Melody!

And, I think I just learned something new about you... hard rock t-shirts? :)

For some reason bloglines isn't picking up your blog posts for me so I'm a bit behind reading your blog. I hate it when bloglines acts up like that. Anyway, hoping you are spending a great time with your family this weekend.

  27. Kim L Says:

It's hard to choose without putting in caveats, isn't it? I had trouble answering some of them!

  28. The Bookworm Says:

this was such a fun BTT :O)
and congrats on your award, it is well deserved!

Debi - I know, they're hard to answer considering they're easy questions, eh?

Iliana - Thanks! Bummer about bloglines; I hope they've it fixed by now! Hope you've a great week ahead, Iliana! :)

    Kim - Exactly!

    Naida - Thank you! :)
