Melody

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia from The Printed Page.

These are what I received in my mailbox last week (books I ordered from Acmamall):

1) Black Sheep by Georgette Heyer

2) The Heights by Brian James

3) The True Story of Hansel and Gretel by Louise Murphy (I have to thank Nymeth for mentioning this book! :-) )

4) Bloody Awful by Georgia Evans (I enjoyed reading the first installment, Bloody Good, so I'm hoping this one would be as good.)

5) The Missing Ink by Karen E. Olson (I'm excited that Karen is writing another new series!)

So what books came into your house last week?

  1. I always think it's funny when I see Monday posts coming up on my Sunday. :) You must be a million timezones ahead of me.

I haven't heard much about any of these books--although I do see Hansel and Gretel popping up now and then. Enjoy!

I agree with Trish. I always think it's funny to read your posts a day before it's that day here. lol. Looks like you got lots of good books. I'd like to read Hansel and Gretel one of these days.

I read The True Story of Hansel and Gretel earlier this year...it is a wonderful, clever WWII story, with plenty of hope nestled amongst the pain.

The Heights has such a pretty cover. And I hope we both enjoy Hansel & Gretel!

Never read The True Story of Hansel and Gretel, but that seem interesting. I only know of the story told from kid's story books but not adult version. If this is what it is?

Enjoy many of your books, Melody!
